We couldn't have a website with our pets without a special page dedicated to Rick's late cat Pixie.  Not only was she a loving, beautiful companion, but she's also responsible for us meeting and eventually getting married!

You see, we actually met on Match.com (yes, we're one of those couples where it actually worked!).  I posted a profile on Match.com out of curiosity, but Rick had been on for quite a while.  He had sent a "wink" my way to introduce himself.   But even though I wasn't on there to meet people, having seen the picture of Rick and Pixie, I thought "Well, he's a cat person so he can't be THAT bad!"  So, I replied and lo-and-behold a few years later we're married!

Unfortunately, Pixie died of cancer shortly after we met at the age of 6.  It was of course a very painful and emotional time but we never forget that Pixie is a big part of the reason why we're together today.

So - this page is dedicated to Pixie who is missed every day and is always in our hearts.
